Photo Editing Making your personal images look like they were taken by a professional. Retouching, or post-production, is the art of editing digital images to enhance their appearance. This may include removing skin blemishes, making eyes pop, editing the background, removing unwanted objects or changing the overall colour tone, among other things. Using these skills a re-toucher can totally change the look of a photo, and turn a snap shot into a quality image. Even subtle changes can have a big impact and most of the edits will not be 'obvious'. Look at the examples of my work below to see what can be achieved. Specialising in beauty & boudoir Most photographers will undertake a beauty & boudoir photoshoot if you ask them to, but they will also shoot a wedding, your baby, your pet or a family group. Unlike many others, I specialise in beauty and boudoir photography, so all my equipment, skills and knowledge are focused on creating stunning beauty and boudoir images, with you at the centre of the photoshoot experience. ​ 2. Creating unique images in unique locations Many photographers are tied to their studios, which is easy for them because all their gear remains set up all the time. It also means that whatever chair you sit in and whichever bed you lay on, has already been used by every other person that had their photo taken there before you. This makes for formulaic shots that look very good, but look the same as everybody else's images. ​ By shooting at your home, or on location, my photoshoots create unique photo sets that are personal to you. ​ 3. Complete transparency up front All my packages include some images in the original price, and I'll tell you how much any additional images will cost right up front. There are no hidden charges. A lot of photographers, especially studio based ones, will charge you an initial fee for a photoshoot and then get you back to sell you the images they took for an additional fee. ​ 4. Gift cards may not be honoured after that time period, and no refund will be made. Gift cards can be redeemed against any photoshoot (except commercial shoots). If the chosen package is more expensive than the face value of the gift card the additional cost will need to be paid. If the chosen package is less expensive than the face value of the gift certificate no cash refund will be made, however the balance can be used to purchase additional products and services. To make a submission you must own the copyright of the images or have the permission of the copyright holder. They will need to submit a release for their work. You must have the permission of all models that appear in the images to submit the work. All models will need to submit a publication release. ​ ​
